BatchTally helps users count multiple custom categories, set a quantity per action for each category, combine subtotals, and review recent counting history.

Data handled by the extension

BatchTally stores the following data locally in the user’s Chrome profile:

• Category names, order, current counts, and quantity per action
• The active category and calculated subtotals/combined total
• Counting actions from the most recent seven days
• Floating overlay position and display preferences

This information is used only to provide BatchTally’s counting, calculation, history, and overlay features.

Data collection and sharing

• The developer does not receive, collect, sell, or share extension data.
• BatchTally does not use analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, external servers, or third-party services.
• BatchTally does not read or store browsing history, visited URLs, webpage content, form data, cookies, authentication information, or personal communications.
• Data is not stored with chrome.storage.sync and is not intentionally synchronized across devices by BatchTally.

Temporary webpage access

When the user explicitly selects the option to display the floating counter on the current page, Chrome grants BatchTally temporary access to that tab. BatchTally uses this access only to insert its packaged counter interface. It does not inspect, collect, or transmit the page’s content or URL.

Retention and deletion

Counting history is retained for up to seven days. Users can delete the history at any time from the extension interface. Removing the extension also removes its locally stored data according to Chrome’s extension storage behavior.

Limited Use

BatchTally’s use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide the extension’s disclosed single purpose and user-facing features.

Changes

If BatchTally’s data practices change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before the changed collection begins, and users will be informed where required.

暫時的網頁存取

只有在使用者明確選擇「顯示浮動計數器」後，Chrome 才會授予 BatchTally 對目前分頁的暫時權限。此權限只用於插入擴充功能內附的計數器介面；BatchTally 不會檢查、蒐集或傳送該頁面的內容或網址。

保存與刪除

計數歷史最多保存七天。使用者可以隨時在擴充功能介面中清除紀錄。移除擴充功能時，Chrome 也會依擴充功能儲存機制移除其本機資料。

Limited Use

BatchTally 對 Chrome API 資訊的使用符合 Chrome Web Store User Data Policy，包括 Limited Use 規定。資訊只用於提供已揭露的單一用途及使用者可見功能。

政策變更

若 BatchTally 的資料處理方式改變，會在開始新的資料蒐集前更新本政策及 Chrome 商店揭露內容，並在規範要求時通知使用者。
