PhraseBeacon support

Check these in order:

1. Open PhraseBeacon from the toolbar. If you see the local data handling notice, select Agree and start. Highlighting begins only after you agree.
2. Make sure the main switch in the top-right corner is on, and the list you expect is enabled.
3. Reload the page. Tabs that were already open before you installed PhraseBeacon need one reload.
4. Check the page type. Chrome doesn't let extensions run on chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, or Chrome's built-in PDF viewer.

• Check the list's match options. With Case sensitive or Match whole word turned on, "Apple" won't match "apple" or "apples".
• Text inside form fields, password fields, and areas you are currently typing in is skipped on purpose.
• If the word appears in several lists, the list higher in your order decides its color. Drag lists to change the order.

Turn on Use regular expression for that list, then enter one pattern per keyword. PhraseBeacon flags patterns that are invalid or could freeze the page, so simplify nested repetition if you see a warning.

Open PhraseBeacon and use Backup & Restore. Choose Export Backup (JSON) to save a file, and Restore from Backup (JSON) to load it on another computer or after reinstalling.

Your lists are stored only in this browser, so uninstalling PhraseBeacon deletes them. Export a backup first.
